The All-Ireland Scholarships Programme has been in operation since 2008 and provides 125 third level education scholarships per annum throughout the 32 counties of Ireland. To date, 1,246 scholarships have been awarded, with 656 All Ireland Scholars graduating from third level education. An annual awards ceremony is held each year to celebrate the 125 successful scholarship winners with special guest speakers including The President of Ireland, Michael. D Higgins, former US President Bill Clinton and ex-Ireland rugby head coach, Joe Schmidt, among those to attend as Guests of Honour.
An Alumni Association was setup in 2017, to help recipients of the prestigious award to stay in touch with one another and form bonds, long after they have gone their separate ways in life.
